Troubles of Having a Dog:Dogs are cute and cuddly, none really knows that they can be real pain in the ass at times,Even though I love my dog with all my heart,I sometimes feel like locking him up in a cage(don't have a heart to do so).....He is my heaven....:)

I'm gonna divide it into two stages since my dog,Hachi (which is short for hachiko and inspired by the movie!!) is like 4 months old..

Puppy_stage: We got Hachi like when he was some weeks old,and he could barely walk...
1)His main food was milk and biscuits, since he didn't have any sort of teeth,we had to convert into powder and add it with the milk,Hachi never licks it off unless the mixture is smooth..it also was a trouble because milk spoils easily,or the mixture gets hard,or the stupid ants interfere in our business, and the mixture had to be made again and again...

2)A young pup urinates like once or twice in every hour according to its water intake...we had him in the cardboard for like the first month which was stuffed with cloths and old sweaters(we got him in winter)....and changing them accordingly was a trouble....

3)Waking up:Having a young pup is like having a baby,I used to wake at the night at odd hours to feed him, make him urinate outside the box,and cleaning...

4)Eating or Biting things:We do get him outside to make him walk a bit(he do get restless,he is very active)and anything that is tiny and weightless goes into his mouth...it gets harder when he grows up....

Grown-up-stage:
1)Restlessness:The first trouble having inside an apartment is that,he bites and scratches every single thing...

2)Barking:Barking is a problem to us as we live in an Arab country, even though the people here are friendly and modern, some still may consider dogs as unclean...Barking also scares them as there are Wadi dogs here and these dogs tend to be pretty aggressive(Hachi is half breed of Wadi dog and Toy-Fox-Terrier)and is very aggressive...

3)Urinating:Even though he does his duties outside, there are times when he do urinates inside home or even in bed sometimes..

4)Guests:Since he is in an apartment, and we mostly take him in the terrace for his exercises,he rarely meets anyone outside of home other than our neighbors, thus it is real trouble to make him quiet..

Even though there are troubles in having a dog as a pet in an Arab country...life never gets boring with him around here....The welcome atmosphere in home after a long school day is something worth smiling....Even though he barks,we do feel somewhat safe.......
Hachi and I ,sleep together and its sometimes nice having him close......

THIS POST IS DEDICATED TO SOMEONE WHOM HACHI HATES WITH ALL HIS HEART....#R
